My pet peeve: people who drive slow in the left lane. What is up with that? It completely slows down traffic, and makes other drivers frustrated. I think there should be sensors in the road that pick up if a vehicle is not driving fast enough to be passing vehicles in the other two lanes, then the driver can receive some kind of warning sound in their vehicle. If they fail to move, they will get launched into space. Problem solved!

Okay, maybe not, but a girl can dream.

    I concur when did this begin anyway? I remember learning to drive and being told to stay out of the left lane as a new driver.

    I completely agree that this can be frustrating and I always try to drive faster in the left lane. I must admit though sometimes I do not always follow this. I don't do it on purpose but when I do realize that people get mad at me I try to speed up :)
